Many Ways to Buy
Below are some of the most frequent ways we help our clients purchase property.
First-Time Home Buyer
We absolutely adore working with first-time home buyers, and both consider doing so one of our specialties! We use our experiences as a mother and a kindergarten teacher to patiently and kindly teach the process. We love the learning process, and hope that you come out at the end of the process more confident in your knowledge about buying a home. We're all in this together, and will help you assemble your dream team to make sure you are supported by experts every step of the way during this huge accomplishment.
Relocating From Out of Area
Buying from out of the area? We are skilled in virtual showings for our clients! We have worked with many buyers who have purchased sight unseen, and use the tools we have cultivated over the years to make sure people have as accurate a picture as possible before visiting the home for themselves.
Purchasing for Someone Else
Purchasing a property is a huge milestone, and sometimes help is needed to achieve it. We have worked with many clients where a home was bought by someone for their loved one. We know how important it is to balance the needs of the person who is buying the property and the person who will be living in it. There are certain requirements to make sure everything is completed in the desired way, and we are there to walk through the steps in an informed way.
Building New Construction
Would you like to build a new home? We can help with this as well! We are licensed to help you purchase vacant land to build your house on, as well as work with new construction companies. The process has differences from buying a resale home, and we want to make sure all of the right work is done safely. There are many steps to ensure your property is done how you desire, and we are there to be your advocate where it might feel like you're a fish out of water. From giving recommendations to worthwhile upgrades to helping catch items the workers need to fix before it's too late, we are there for you! Be sure you contact us before you reach out to the new construction company, otherwise we likely won't be able to help you!
Buying Investment Property
Are you an investor hoping to purchase residential real estate? We work with you too! There are differences to purchasing a property you won't be living in. Knowing how to navigate the different regulations of owning a non-homesteaded property can feel overwhelming, but with the right tools it can become easy enough that you will want to continue expanding your portfolio. If so, we will be there to keep looking for what we know you like!
Looking for commercial properties? This isn’t our specialty, but we can connect you with people who would be a great fit. While we are technically licensed to help, we would rather you work with an expert who would give you the experience you deserve. We have helped clients with commercial purchases in the past, and can talk about your needs if you're hoping to make it happen. However, we think it's important to be transparent about our limitations. We want you to have the best experience possible, and will support you how we can to make sure it happens!
Renting
Not quite ready to buy, but need help renting in the meantime? Our license covers rentals too! We can help strategize navigating this aspect of housing and be an advocate for you so you’re thrilled with where you land temporarily. While we can't help with every kind of rental, we will do what we can and give advice even if we can't be as involved in the process. We want you to be happy wherever you live for as long as you're there.
When it comes time to buy, we can help you make the exciting transition from renter to owner. Knowing the right steps to minimize the overlap of rent and mortgage payments can save you a lot of money. We love watching people time such big steps through life, and want to help with every milestone that we can.
Needing to Sell Too
Need to sell as well? We can help you balance both parts of your transition so they go as smoothly as possible. Having one real estate agent who understands your two transactions rather than playing catch-up helps to ensure nothing is lost in translation. We can help you navigate the process of deciding when to go on the market as a seller and when to enter it as a buyer.
